EB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary (Private Client) to join a growing legal firm in Glasgow City Centre.
The Private Client team in this firm deal with all matters relating to all aspects of private client work and asset protection matters, including wills, estate administration, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship Orders, Trusts and estate planning. The team also specialise in all aspects of Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax.
Supporting the fee earning team and working alongside other support staff, this role involves:
- As a point of contact for the depart, answer calls, diverting as necessary, taking messages and advising where relevant
- Client facing communications where required
- Coordinating various correspondence/communications
- Preparation of documents
- Producing PowerPoint presentations, organisational charts, mail merges, Excel spreadsheets
- Audio and copy typing as required
- Diary management and arrangement of meetings
- File management, both hard copy and soft copy using client management software
- Assist fee earners with any billing and finance processes
- When required, support with projects within the team
- Ad hoc duties required by the office
Skills and experience required:
- Candidates must have Legal Secretary/PA experience
- Private Client experience would be highly advantageous
- Ability to coordinate a varied workload
- Possess professional communications skills – internally and externally
- Audio and copy typing speed of at least 60wpm – digital dictation
