EB Recruitment looking for an experienced Legal Document Production Specialist to provide a highly efficient, professional, and responsive document production service to our award winning legal client. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working to tight deadlines, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality legal documents.
Based in the firms Glasgow or Edinburgh office, you’ll play a key role in supporting fee earners with a wide range of document production tasks, ensuring work is delivered accurately, on time, and in line with firm standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Audio and copy typing of legal documents
- Formatting documents using the firm’s house styles
- Producing and amending documents including correspondence, reports, manuscripts, and tracked changes
- Creating and updating PowerPoint presentations, organisational charts, mail merges, Excel spreadsheets, and graphs
- Producing electronic bundles
- Managing multiple deadlines and ensuring documents are delivered within agreed timescales
- Supporting and collaborating with colleagues by sharing system knowledge and contributing to team development
- Assisting with Team Assistant duties when required
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll be detail-driven, organised, and confident working independently in a legal environment.
You’ll need:
- Accurate typing speed of 60 words per minute or more
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills
- Proven legal audio and copy typing experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to use initiative and manage your workload effectively
