EB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Legal Administrator to join the Residential department of this highly recognised firm in Edinburgh
This role will be based within the firms smaller branch on the outskirts of the city centre and will work alongside a busy team of property and residential professionals.
Supporting the wider team with administrative assistance, this role will involve:
- Drafting letters and legal documents for the team
- Undertaking searches with Local Authority and Land Register of Scotland
- Preparing Land Registration and LBTT forms
- Assisting with the preparation of fee notes
- Liaising directly with clients and other parties
- Compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures in onboarding clients
Skills and experience required:
- Experience gained in a similar legal administrative / secretarial role
- Working knowledge of AML processes would also be considered advantageous
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Be highly organised, pro-active, strong attention to detail
- Team player
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be IT proficient – MS Office packages
This is a full time role, however consideration will be made to part time / flexible working.
